Description

Has some of the most striking foliage of any Euphorbia with changing colour throughout the seasons. Chartreuse flowers emerge from yellow bracts to top the plants in May and June. In summer and autumn variegated leaves are splashed with irregular cream, grey green and red markings. As temperature cools, the foliage takes on a red glow in the winter carried on to early spring. Plants grow into bushy, leafy clumps.
Was a top pick in the Colorado State University trials (USA) and the Alberta Perennial trials (Canada) in 2011, thus underlining its adaptability to a wide climate range.

Awards
- Plantarium 2012 (NL) - Bronze medal

Reviews
"Euphorbia amygdaloides ‘Frosted Flame’ is one of the brightest of all...a fine plant to grow as a specimen in a well-drained container, in a sunny but sheltered position. In a pot with a blue glaze it should look stunning."
